SCE’s primary website and application needs involve file management and downloading at the community level, and building more secure views for SCE representatives. Specific projects have included:
- Ability to integrate data from Visualforce and turn them into Word documents and PDF files for customers to download and for Program Managers and Planners to be able to access
- Build defined profiles for community users
- Fluidity and accessibility of native Salesforce® features for online project management. Common features that SCE requests are intense validation rules, activities objects, set-up quotients for field values being reached, related junction objects, just to name a few of the Salesforce® features that they desire.

In this regard, intense validation rules are put in place so that 3rd party clients have no more information than they should have access to, and to regulate access to management from the top down for confidentiality purposes.
