Overview
Axia Women’s Health is a large, integrated healthcare network dedicated to providing a full spectrum of women’s health services. With its administrative headquarters in Oaks, Pennsylvania, the organization connects patients to a wide community of OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other providers. Axia is focused on delivering a more compassionate, convenient, and progressive healthcare experience, offering services from routine gynecology and maternity care to advanced diagnostics.
Problem
Axia Women’s Health, a large and growing network of care centers, faced operational challenges common to healthcare organizations expanding through acquisition. Managing a vast amount of provider and patient data across disparate spreadsheets and legacy systems created significant information silos. This fragmentation made it difficult for the central administrative team to maintain a unified view of physician relationships, patient referrals, and clinic performance. Without a centralized system to track these critical interactions, the organization struggled to standardize processes or generate the real-time insights needed to drive strategic growth and improve care coordination.
Solution
To unify the network’s data infrastructure, a robust Health Cloud environment was deployed to serve as the central source of truth. The implementation began with a large-scale data migration, consolidating records from multiple spreadsheet sources into a structured architecture of accounts, contacts, and opportunities. This ensured that all historical data, including critical attachments and documents, was preserved and accessible within a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
Leveraging the power of integrated productivity tools, Salesforce Inbox was configured to synchronize email communications and calendar events directly with the CRM. This integration bridged the gap between personal inboxes and the central database, ensuring that every interaction with providers and partners was automatically logged and visible to the team. Furthermore, robust reports and dashboards were built to give leadership real-time visibility into key performance indicators, replacing manual reporting methods with dynamic, actionable analytics.
Results
Administrative teams now operate with a comprehensive view of the entire health network, enabling them to coordinate care and manage provider relationships with greater efficiency. By centralizing data and automating the capture of communication history, the organization has significantly reduced the time spent on manual data entry and search. The shift to a data-driven operational model has empowered leadership to make informed decisions that enhance the patient experience and support the continued expansion of women’s health services.
