NEW YORK, NY – Mar 27, 2018 – Valentina Kova is an American luxury brand specializing in wovens, knitwear, and fine jewelry with production in New York City and Italy. Valentina Kova’sdesigns are future classics that are chic, fashion forward and eminently wearable by women of all ages.
Valentina Kova desired a platform with the ability to track transactions from all of their stores and collect that transaction in one database set-up. To help VK, Cloud Creations conducted two, one-hour conference call and screen-sharing strategy sessions to discuss field creation, to better understand VK’s business processes and requirements, and to provide advice and guidance on the best approach for Salesforce setup.
Cloud Creations implemented a Square Integration app for VK that was capable of tracking Point of Sale transactions from all of its stores, and could upload transaction data into Salesforce where it could then be viewed and utilized by VK. Within Salesforce, Cloud Creations configured about 45 default fields, and created 15 non-formula custom fields (for a total of 60 fields). Cloud Creations also customized: page layouts, list views, search layouts and filters, object home tab layouts and lookup field layouts on Contacts and Opportunities Objects as well in order to prepare VKs Salesforce for enhanced Square usage.
VK also needed a Product/Spreadsheet importation and set-up. So, Cloud Creations implemented it and created and configured 100 standard Products (or Product Categories) and 2 Price Lists (Pricebooks).
An API Documentation/Web Service Integration then allowed Cloud Creations to create a one-way web integration via SOAP or REST to VK’s Square web-service. APIs allow users to easily integrate asynchronously back-office applications with Salesforce while leveraging existing platform choices for systems like ERP, Financials and other custom applications.
From the App Exchange a MailChimp third party app was installed and configured to VK’s Salesforce and web-service platform for VK’s desired email marketing and customer tracking goals. The MailChimp integration from the App Exchange allows users the ability to:
- Manage MailChimp subscribers from Salesforce leads, contacts, and list views
- Upload MailChimp subscribers as Salesforce leads
- View MailChimp campaign results and subscriber activity history in Salesforce
Finalizing the project Cloud Creations conducted in collaboration with VK end user testing to ensure that all configurations, data, and automated processes met VK’s contractual requirements, and as needed Cloud Creations performed in-scope configuration revisions and changes associated with testing from Valentina Kova.
