LOS ANGELES, CA – May 12, 2018 – Founded in 2006, E & K Vintage Wood offers the finest reclaimed wood, including: lumber, flooring, hand hewn beams, slabs , barn siding and custom milled furniture. They also provide architectural services, finishing, custom millwork and installation.
E & K Vintage had a spreadsheet of opportunities that they needed imported into a CRM platform where they could manage their opportunities as completed Accounts and as either repeat or new Opportunity clients. Cloud Creations configured and implemented that spreadsheet into 1000 rows and 50 columns of usable data and migrated it into E & K’s Salesforce Enterprise platform.
The project kicked off with 4 – one hour – conference calls and strategy sessions where Cloud Creations in collaboration with E & K set out to determine how best to set-up and configure E & K’s Salesforce fields based off their business practices, and how those practices could be implemented into their Salesforce. In each of E & K’s Account Object and Opportunity Fields Cloud Creations configured 25 default fields for them and 10 custom non-formula fields for a total of 70 fields configured, customized, and implemented into E & K’s Salesforce.
E & K’s set-up had an array of functionalities that included: list views, search layouts and filters, object home tab layouts, and look up layouts, etc., in default and customized settings.
When the project was completed a battery of user and system testing was conducted and followed up with a final one hour Salesforce training session where E & K was provided with familiarization with their new Salesforce platform concerning the usage of functionalities such as: lists, objects, record creation, dashboards, etc.
