Cloud Creations Implements CPQ for Zivelo Self-Service Kiosks

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – July 9, 2019 – Zivelo is an innovator of self-service technology solutions capable of designing, manufacturing, and distributing public terminal systems throughout the world helping them to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of self-service kiosk and digital signage products.

Challenge

Zivelo was interested in implementing a Salesforce CPQ Process. They have an array quote calculations and configurations that they needed accessible in one software tool utilizing various applications to accomplish their business needs.

Solution 

Cloud Creations had to implement the process flow of CPQ into Zivelo’s Salesforce. CPQ is composed of the processes or steps that comprise this acronym: Configure, Price, and Quote.

Once the custom tool was implemented by Cloud Creations the process starts by creating a new opportunity (native object field configuration) which is then added to a quote. After the quote and opportunity have been established, products (from custom product object-field configurations) are then chosen and added to the quote which “(Configures)” and then syncs to the quote further by totaling out any of the other values (custom object field configurations) (Prices) associated with the opportunity.  When this process has synced a PDF with all the quote details (Quote) can be sent to Zivelo’s customer(s).

Implementation

Cloud Creations integrated a series of complex custom computation and quote functionalities into Zivelo’s Salesforce CPQ platform that are either generated from the opportunity object and/or from the custom objects configured into the CPQ quote task field panel.

Custom configured bucket menus allow Zivelo users to choose and create multiple custom algorithms into a quote for a specific opportunity detail. See those custom algorithms in the highlighted box on the right in the field view screenshot below.

A data loader wizard can also upload and sync, “import” or “export,” multiple data into a quote configuration.

Price Book entry’s for a quote can also be generated using a custom configured price book quote object synced to the same levels of customized algorithms and opportunity object configurations.

Existing files and data are also migrated from external sources into the object opportunity and the data object algorithms for the quote.

The same functionalities referenced above are also found in multitude on the custom quotes object field. Follow the arrows on the field display screen shot below to see those custom configurations used to generate a quote.

A custom pdf is generated for the opportunity from the various CPQ processes. The pdf is also configured to include hyperlinks for further data and information related to the opportunity quote.

Results

Zivelo had a CPQ tool replete with the custom configurations and a wizard that they needed to handle their complex calculations and quoting processes.
