OXNARD, CA – Sep, 5, 2017 – Founded in 1980, Oxnard based Scosche Industries, Inc. is an award-winning innovator of consumer technology/electronics and car/truck/motorcycle audio installation products and accessories. They are committed to delivering superior product quality, ongoing innovation, excellent value and unmatched customer service.
Scosche was looking for a way to take data, which is updated daily, from their business and daily operations spreadsheets and integrate it into a system where they could view information regarding products and sales, accounts, and opportunities. Scosche also desired to have security in place that could place limits on users who access their website. Cloud Creations integrated the Boomi Atom Sphere app into Scosche’s existing QAD spreadsheet platform. In doing this, spreadsheet information could now be exported out of the QAD platform and into the Boomi app, and then imported into Salesforce. Once the information from the spreadsheets was in Salesforce, nightly batches – in batch Apex – could be generated with information pertaining to the pairings of Product to Opportunity, Invoice to Opportunity, and Opportunity to Account. To aid in accessing this information, four standard objects in Salesforce were implemented: Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, and Products. One custom object, Invoices, was implemented as well. To help Scosche with website security and user access, Cloud Creations also implemented a Role Hierarchy with stringent user restrictions that could be monitored by an internal administrator. To capture data even further, a ShoreTel CTI application was also installed. The SchoreTel CTI app routes phone calls into Salesforce whereupon Contact records could be opened up or created.
Salesforce Sales IQ Inbox gives Scosche an improved tool for logging customer interactions into their daily operations. Through the implementations and integrations installed by Cloud Creations.Scosche now had the platform that they desired for spreadsheet exportation and importation, usability and access, and security.
